Established in 2004, the School of Public Administration and Services serves as the director of Guangdong Liaison Office of the Teaching Advisory Board for Secretarial Majors in Vocational College under the Ministry of Education, the executive member of the Chinese Secretary Institute of Higher Education and the chair of Guangdong Secretary Institute of Higher Education.
Currently, the School has 45 faculty members, including ten with senior professional titles (two professors), three PhD degree holders and a team of part-time teachers comprised of 28 industry experts and 23 skilled front-line personnel. The faculty boasts leading figures in the national social work major, members of the Expert Pool for Teachers and Principals of Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens in Guangdong Province, Outstanding Educators in South China, Outstanding Teachers in South China, Excellent Teachers of Virtue in Guangdong Province, and the first batch of members of the Advisory Board for Preschool and Special Education Training in Guangdong Province.
The School offers such programs as Modern Secretarial Studies, Human Resource Management, Business Management, Social Work, Airline Cabin Services, Wedding Service and Management, and Smart Health and Elderly Care Service and Management, with a total of 1,284 students and a graduate employment rate of over 98%. Among them, the Modern Secretarial Studies Specialty Group was included in the provincial high-level specialty groups in vocational college; the Modern Secretarial Studies Program is a key program in provincial higher vocational education; and the Human Resource Management Program is a college-level distinctive construction program.
The School boasts excellent teaching facilities, including a provincially-funded public training center for developing high-skilled general management ability, a public training center for modern conference, a human resource service training center, an aviation simulation training center, and various training rooms such as high-performance computer training room, tea art training room, body shaping room, Chinese banquet reception training room, makeup and styling training room, and outdoor wedding shooting training room, etc. The School has established cooperative relationships with companies such as Sodexo Management Services Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Honghai Human Resources Group Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu No-Border Aviation Development Co., Ltd.
