广东省外语艺术职业学院外籍教师聘用

管理办法(2022年修订)


第一章 总则

第一条 为规范外籍教师聘用与管理工作,根据《高等学校聘请外国文教专家和外籍教师的规定》(教外办〔1991462号)、《外国文教专家聘用合同管理规定》(外专发〔2011118号)和《国家外国专家局关于印发外国人来华工作许可服务指南(暂行)的通知》(外专发〔201736号),结合学校实际情况,制定本办法。

第二条 本办法适用于受聘来校工作三个月以上的外籍教师(以下简称外教)。

第三条 校内各用人单位应依照本办法,按需聘请,择优录取。


第二章 聘用条件及程序

第四条 资历要求

(一)外教应对华友好,愿与学校合作,业务水平较高并符合学校需要。

(二)外教原则上不超过60周岁;在原籍国无犯罪前科、无法律纠纷;必须遵守中华人民共和国的有关法律法规和我校的规章制度,尊重中国文化传统和风俗习惯;身心健康,有良好的生活习惯及心理素质。

(三)语言类外教应具有学士或以上学位,受过专门的语言教学培训,2年以上教学经验,口齿清楚,语音语调规范。

专业类外教应具有相关专业硕士以上学位,3年以上教学经验,具有专业教学要求的相关行业经验。

(四)符合教育部、国家科学技术部、广东省教育厅、广东省科学技术厅等上级部门对外教聘用的规定。

第五条 聘请程序

(一)每年1110日前,用人单位向党政办公室(以下简称“党政办”)、教务部报送下一学年外教聘用申请,内容必须包括聘请目的、外教担任的课程及工作量、拟聘请人数,经分管教学及分管外事的校领导审批后执行。

(二)聘用申请获批后,用人单位在规定时间内自行物色合适人选,对拟聘外教的条件进行认真审核,于次年2月底前将拟聘请人员名单及手续办理所需材料报送党政办。如单位自行物色外教有困难,可申请党政办协助。

(三)如申请材料未通过审核,用人单位需尽快另行物色人选并于审核反馈之日起30天内完成材料报送。

(四)材料通过审核后,由学校与受聘者签订聘用合同,合同签订后由党政办办理相关证件手续。外教信息一览表报人力资源部、教务部备案。

(五)外教聘用期满决定继续聘用的,用人单位在合同结束前90天向党政办提出续约申请,由党政办办理聘用手续。


第三章 工作量计算及薪酬待遇

第六条 工作量计算

(一)外教每周工作量不低于12节,包括理论授课及学术科研等活动。

(二)如用人单位有2位以上外教,应合理安排工作量,做到公平公正。

第七条 薪酬待遇

(一)月薪。学校根据外教的学历、业务水平、承担的工作任务确定月薪。月薪按月发放,每月最后一天为月薪发放日。不足整月的按日发,每月按二十三天计算。外教须依照《中华人民共和国个人所得税法》缴纳个人所得税。

每月6日前,用人单位将外教工作量变动情况报送到党政办;党政办按学校工资发放要求报人力资源部办理工资发放手续。

(二)住宿及水电费补贴。原则上学校为外教提供免费校内住房及水电。如学校无法安排校内住房,按月补助外教住房津贴。

(三)学校为外教购买商业保险,包括意外伤害、意外医疗和重大疾病险。

(四)学校按年度发放旅费,按学期发放教学奖金和国内旅游补助。外教享受学校工会规定的相关福利。


第四章 合同管理

第八条 合同签订

学校严格按合同管理外教。来校任教一学期以上(含一学期)的外教,必须与学校签订合同。合同应包括但不限于以下内容:

(一)学校名称、地址和法定代表人信息;

(二)受聘方的姓名、国籍和护照号码;

(三)受聘方被聘任的起止日期,工作内容、工作时间和休息休假,工作报酬和应享受的各种待遇,工作报酬支付方式;

(四)意外险、重大疾病险;

(五)明确规定外教应遵守我国法律、法规和我校校纪、校规和师德规范,接受我校的工作安排、业务指导、教育质量检查和评估。未经我校同意,不得兼任与聘方无关的其他劳务。按期完成工作任务,保证工作质量。尊重中国的宗教政策。不从事与身份不符的活动。尊重中国人民的道德规范和风俗习惯。

(六)合同的变更、解除和终止,违约责任,聘用合同使用的文字及效力;

(七)法律法规规定的应当纳入聘用合同的其他事项。

第九条 合同执行

受聘外教应如期到校,按照学校教学管理规定开展教学工作。每学期末用人单位根据教务部规定对外教工作进行评估与考核,结果将作为外教评优和续聘的主要依据。

第十条 合同变更、解除或终止

(一)有以下情形之一的,聘用合同终止:聘用合同期满的;聘用合同尚未期满,未获得外国专家证延期和外国人居留许可延期的;外教死亡,或者被依法宣告死亡或宣告失踪的;法律、法规规定的其他情形。

(二)对聘请考核确定为不合格的外教,学校不予续聘。对教学及师生评价分数不及格的外教,学校有权立即进行聘期考核;对考核不通过的外教,学校有权与其商议终止合同。

(三)如因特殊情况,外教不宜继续承担教学及科研任务的,经用人单位与外教本人商议后,及时向学校汇报,由党政办代表学校与外教解除合同,聘用单位做好相应的教学安排。

(四)对于触犯或违反我国法律法规、违反学校规章制度、违反师德规范、不按合同履行职责的外教,学校有权提前与其解除聘任关系。


第五章 外教教学及行为规范

第十一条 外教应遵守学校的教学管理制度和校园管理规定。

第十二条 教学准备

(一)外教应在教学前准备好教学材料、教具及其他相关材料。教学材料包括任教课程的课程标准、教材及任教班级学生名册表。

(二)外教应根据教学标准和指定教材备课、上课,科学合理地安排教学内容。如有必要,经用人单位同意,教学内容可作适当调整,但不能以任何理由拒绝使用指定教材或执行教学计划。

(三)外教应填写教学进度表,于每学期第一周交用人单位。教学内容应根据进度表执行,可略作调整。

(四)每学期上课前,外教使用的教学材料须经用人单位审核。

第十三条 课堂教学

(一)外教上课应做到精神饱满、衣冠整洁、仪表端正、言行文明。

(二)外教在开课之初,应以适当的方式作自我介绍,增进师生之间的了解。还要简要介绍本门课程的概况、考核方式、平时成绩构成及在期末总评成绩中所占的比例,对学生的学习提出明确的要求,对课堂纪律做出明确的规定。

(三)外教应按课表规定的时间、地点按时上下课。如上课迟到、中断课堂或早退,依照合同附件教学管理条例进行处罚。确因特殊情况需调整的,需按相关规定办理手续。

(四)不得以播放影视片等代替正常的课堂教学。如确实需要放映影视教学资料时,需向用人单位提交播放材料,获得许可后执行。播放材料期间不得擅自离开教学现场。

(五)外教需重视教学效果、教学质量的信息反馈,对于领导、同行以及学生给予的评价结果,要以积极的态度认真分析,采取有效措施,改进课堂教学方法,努力提高教学水平和教学效果。

(六)外教是课堂教学管理的第一责任人。须严格课堂考勤,对学生的旷课、在课堂上的违规行为要及时制止和批评,对情节严重、不接受批评的,应及时向学生所在二级学院(部)反映,再由所在二级学院(部)作出处理并向教师反馈。

(七)其他与教学相关的事宜,按照学校教务部相关规定办理。

第十四条 课堂评估

(一)外教应根据学期教学内容合理安排考试内容,合理评价学生。评分要客观标准,不得随意更改学生成绩。

(二)外教应强调考试记录,如实记录学生的作弊行为。如发现作弊行为应报告用人单位及教务部。

(三)外教应按照用人单位及教务部的要求上交考试材料,经审批后使用。完成考试后及时提交学生成绩及任课课程分析。

第十五条 外教行为规范

(一)无论课内课外,外教应保持礼貌大方的行为举止。禁止在公共场合进行捣乱、酗酒或者其他攻击性行为。

(二)外教应与学生保持正确的师生关系。应在办公室或教室讨论教学问题,尽量不让学生出入自己的住所。无论校内、校外,外教都不允许与学生约会、恋爱。无论任何原因,禁止留宿学生。师生之间如发生文化方面的误解,应妥善处理并报告用人单位及外事科。

(三)外教在校期间,应遵守我国有关宗教法律法规,禁止在课堂上及校园内谈论与性、政治、宗教或种族有关的话题。不允许在学校布道传教,不得发展教徒;不得在校外组织或参加非法宗教活动,不得组织学生到校外参加任何宗教活动;不得插手我国的宗教事务。违规者按合同违规条例处理并按情况上报相关部门处理。


第六章 事务管理

第十六条 党政办负责学校外教日常事务管理,用人单位协助办理相关工作。外教工作重大问题由党政办按规定报上级主管部门处理。

(一)证件管理。做好外教的工作及居留证件办理及管理,及时与上级部门、广州市出入境管理局和居住地派出所联系,办理工作和居留证件。协助外教办理学校要求的各项事务,如工资卡、校园一卡通等。

(二)住宿管理。根据外教合理需求与后勤部联系安排住房,提供设备,管理住房资产,做好住房服务。

(三)信息沟通。向外教传达学校通知,定期组织外教会议,保证学校、教学单位和外教的良好沟通。

(四)新外教岗前培训。向外教介绍我国基本国情、教育方针、政策、法律、法令及有关规定,帮助其了解中国并要求其遵守我国的法律法规、校纪校规和师德规范,尊重中国人民的风俗习惯。

(五)党政办根据经费情况组织外教深入体验我国自然风光、人文历史、社会发展最新成果,增强外教对我国国情的了解。

第十七条 教务部统筹、协调、指导外教的教学业务工作。用人单位具体负责外教教学业务监督及考核工作,具体工作及要求如下:

(一)配备一位政治、业务能力较强的中方教师作为外教的合作教师,协助外教开展教学,并协助学校做好外教的工作。

(二)根据人才培养方案,明确外教在聘期担任的工作及要求。提供相应的教材、课程标准和参考书目;提出对教材允许变动的范围要求;要求外教按时提供教学大纲、教案、教学日程、教学讲稿或PPT等相关材料;审定外教讲学计划和教学使用的教材。

(三)建立对外教的听课制度,每学期安排不少于2名专任教师听课,提出建议或意见,抄送教务部和党政办备案每学期向学校提交外教师生评价及成果报告;每学年向学校提供外教聘期考核。

(四)定期召开外教会议或邀请外教参加本单位会议,做好教学指导与监督工作,帮助外教了解中国教育、了解学校发展及所教授学生情况,及时反馈师生评价,帮助外教提高教学水平。

(五)将外教编入教研室或科研组,鼓励外教参与学术研究和活动、鼓励本单位人员与外教发展平等互助的友好合作关系。

党政办和教务部不定期到外教课堂听课,不定期与外教任课班级学生干部座谈,了解外教授课情况。

第十八条 学校师生应尊重外教的风俗习惯和宗教信仰。


第七章 附则

第十九条 本办法由党政办公室负责解释。

第二十条 本办法自公布之日起实行。原《广东省外语艺术职业学院外籍教师聘用管理办法》(粤外艺职院〔2018385号)同时废止。

第一章

I General Principles

1. 广东省外语艺术职业学院(以下简称甲方)聘请 国籍 (护照姓名)先生/女士(护照号码 )(以下简称乙方)为我院外籍教师。双方本着平等互利、友好合作、协商一致的原则,自愿签订本合同,并保证认真履行合同中约定的各项义务。

Party A (Guangdong Teachers College of Foreign Language and Arts) would like to utilize the service of Party B (passport number: , _ ), as an international teacher. The two parties, in an attitude of friendly cooperation, agree to sign this contract and pledge to conscientiously fulfill all the obligations as outlined below.

第二章 合同期限

II Term of the Contract

2. 本合同有效期为 日起至 日止。

The period of service will be from (Date) to (Date) .

1) 如果2022-2023学年在20236月底结束,乙方从20237月起将不再从甲方获得任何报酬或补贴。乙方必须在2023710日前离开甲方,得到甲方的同意继续留住者除外。

2) 如果2022-2023学年是在20237月结束,双方将必须继续履行本合同,甲方将根据乙方在20237月间的实际工作天数为单位计算并发放当月工资,而乙方必须在该学年结束之后的10天内离开甲方。

3) 该学年的实际结束时间参照甲方在学年初公布的校历安排。

If the 2022-2023 school year ends at the end of June 2023, Party B is not entitled to any payment or subsidies in July 2023. Party B should leave his/her campus apartment before 10th July, 2023, unless he/she gets permission from Party A.

If the school year ends in July 2023, both parties must keep obeying the contract, and Party A will pay Party B for his/her working days in July, 2023. Party B should then leave the campus apartment within 10 days after the school year ends.

The school calendar that comes out in early September 2022 has the information about when the school year will end.

第三章 乙方工资和福利

III Party B’s Benefits

3. 月薪额:甲方根据乙方承担的工作任务、实际业务水平、学历和资历等确定乙方月薪,现确定乙方月薪总额为人民币 圆整(¥ 元)。(住校外者另加住房补贴)

Salary Amount: The salary of Party B is to be determined by Party A according to the duties required of Party B and the professional competence demonstrated, with consideration of his/her academic training, qualifications and work experience. Party B’s monthly salary will be RMB (Yuan). (Housing allowance is provided if live off campus)

4. 月薪发放办法:工资自合同生效之日起按月发放。甲方于每个工作月的月底以银行支付方式发放乙方当月月薪。工作时间不足1个整月,则按月薪的二十三分之一计发工作日日薪。

Paying the Salary: Salary is paid monthly after the contract takes effect. Party A should pay Party B’s salary by the end of the working month through banking (via direct deposit into Party B’s bank account that is to be arranged by Party A). If in a month, Party B works for less than a month, payment is to be made according to the number of working days. One day’s pay is equal to one twenty-third of the monthly salary.

5. 补贴:(住校外者不含本条款)

1) 日常生活补贴:甲方每月补贴乙方210度以内用电,超出者费用自负;

2) 甲方免费提供乙方使用校园网络;

3) 乙方自理瓶装水和煤气费用。

Daily Life Allowance: The amount of electricity provided by Party A for the use of Party B is limited to 210 kwh per month (Extra kwh beyond this amount must be paid by Party B). It is free for Party B to use Party A’s campus Internet service. Party B should buy bottled water and propane gas at his/her own expenses. (No apartment related services if live off campus)

4) 住房:甲方为乙方提供套房,配有厨房、卫生间、家具、床具、电视机,电冰箱、空调、煤气炉、电热水器等。(住校外者不含本条款)

Housing: An apartment with kitchen, bathroom, furniture, bedding, television set, refrigerator, air conditioner, LPG stove, electric water heater and other basic equipment is provided to Party B. (No apartment related services if live off campus)

5) 国际旅费补贴:若合同期为一年(即两个学期,从9月份至第二年7月份),甲方将在合同期满时付给乙方人民币8000元的国际旅费补贴,用于支付其单程国际旅费(包括机票、船票、火车票及机场税等);若乙方连续工作满两年(从9月到第三年的7月)或两年以上,甲方在合同期满时支付乙方从第二年起的来回国际交通费人民币12000元。若乙方只签订一个学期的合同,甲方将在合同期满时付给乙方国际旅费人民币4000元。

International Travel Allowance: At the end of the one-year contract service (two semesters, from September to the next July), Party A pays Party B RMB8,000 as international travel allowance for his/her one way departure tickets (including air ticket, train or boat ticket and air departure tax) to leave the college; if Party B uninterruptedly continues his/her contract with Party A for another year (again from September to the next July), Party A will pay Party B RMB12,000 for Party B’s round tickets (including air ticket, train or boat ticket and air departure tax) after the second contract is over. If Party B has only signed a one-semester contract with Party A, Party A will pay RMB4,000 as international travel allowance to Party B after the contract ends.

6) 当地文化旅游补贴:每个学年内,甲方将组织乙方参加1-2次广东省内集体文化旅游,交通费、在外就餐费和景点入口门票费等由甲方负担;乙方如果不参加集体旅游,则不享受此补贴。

Local Cultural Trip Allowance: Party A will arrange local trips once or twice in a school year for all international teachers, and Party A pays the fees of transportation, first-gate tickets, and outside meals for Party B; if Party B does not go with the group, he/she will not receive this allowance.

7) 假期旅游补贴:在乙方严格履行合同并顺利完成相应工作的条件下,甲方在每个学期结束后发给乙方假期旅游补助1100元。

Vacation Travel Allowance: On the condition that Party B has fulfilled the contract obligations and completed his/her teaching tasks as requested, Party A shall provide Party B with RMB1,100 as vacation travel allowance after every semester.

8) 意外伤害保险:若合同期为一学年,甲方一般在乙方抵粤后为其购买合同期间的意外保险。对乙方已购买相关保险的,经双方协商可以不再购买中国境内的意外保险,甲方将按在中国境内购买保险费/人的50%—60%给予乙方补贴。若合同期为一个学期,乙方一般应该在来华前自行购买中国境内的意外保险(所购险种必须覆盖乙方在粤工作期间发生的意外身故、意外伤害)。对确有困难未能在来华前购买保险的,必须在抵华后七天内自行购买中国境内相关保险。乙方发生的意外伤害,在保险范围内的,由保险公司保额承担,超额部分由乙方自行承担,甲方不再负有责任。经甲方批准随行的乙方家属必须在来华前自行购买相关保险,并在到达甲方当天出示相关证明。甲方不对随行乙方家属的安全、医疗等负责。

Personal Accident Insurance: Under a one-year contract service, Party A will buy a Personal Accident Insurance for Party B when he/she arrives at Party A. If Party B has the valid accident insurance himself/herself, Party A will not buy the insurance for Party B, though Party B will receive the insurance allowance(50%—60% of the fee of buying a personal accident insurance in China). Under a one-semester contract service, Party B should buy the insurance before he/she arrives in China. The insurance should cover Party B’s possible accidental death and accidental injuries during his/her working period in Guangdong Province. If Party B has difficulties to buy the accident insurance in his/her home country, he/she should have to buy within 7 days after he/she arrives in China. Party A will not provide any medical allowance for those accidental injuries which are covered in Party B’s accident insurance. Party B is responsible for the extra expenses beyond the insurance. Party B’s accompanying families should buy themselves relevant insurance before arriving in China and show the receipt to Party A on the arrival day. Party A is no responsible for the safety and illnesses of Party B’s accompanying families.

9) 医疗补贴:中国境内享受与中国教师一样的一般门诊医疗和药费80%免费(挂号、医生出诊、补假牙、镶牙、种牙、清洁牙齿、整容、保健按摩、配眼镜、住院伙食、滋补品和公费医疗公布的自费药品等自理,一切因私事及校外活动引起的疾病均由乙方自理。在选择前往就医的医院时,乙方应事先取得甲方的同意,否则相关费用由乙方自理。就医后,乙方应向甲方提供中国正式的医疗费用发票以作证明。乙方在台湾、香港、澳门和中国境外的医疗费用自理。因私外出旅游就诊的医疗费用自理)。在紧急情况中,在医生的要求下,甲方可以提供去医院的交通工具。

Medical Care Allowance: 80% of the cost of medical care in the out-patient department for common illness treatment and medicine will be provided for Party B. This does not include expenses for registration, doctor’s home visits, and transportation to and from the hospital, fitting false teeth, filling teeth, planting teeth, cleaning teeth, face lifting, massage therapy, buying spectacles, boarding in hospital and non-medical tonics. In addition, any illness caused by personal business or outside activity is Party B’s responsibility. Party B should ask for permission on which hospital to go from Party A beforehandotherwise, Party B will be responsible for all hospital expense himself/herself. After seeing a doctor, Party B should provide Party A with Chinese official invoices as the evidence for his/her medical expenses. Medical expenses of Party B in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, outside China and other private travels are borne by Party B. In an emergency or serious condition, at the request of the doctor, a car ride can be provided by Party A for going to the hospital.

6. 奖金:根据乙方教学态度、教学效果、关心学校、同事关系及遵纪守法五方面,由甲方在每学期结束后评出一、二等奖,并发放教学奖,一等奖为1000元,二等奖为500元,条件不合者不奖。

Teaching Bonus: According to Party B’s performance in the five aspects of his/her attitude, result of teaching, concern for the school, relationship with colleagues and obeying the school rules and Chinese laws, Party A will make an evaluation of Party B after a semester ends as to award teaching bonus to Party B. The top teaching bonus is RMB1, 000, and the second is RMB500. If there is any violation in these five categories, the bonus will not be awarded.

7. 其它费用:甲方支付乙方在广州的体检费和居留许可办理费。

Other Fees: Party A pays the fees for Party B’s Residence Permit and physical examination in Guangzhou.

8. 带薪休假:乙方除按中国法定的节假日休假外,还可按甲方规定的寒暑假时间休假。寒假期间及中国政府规定的假期期间乙方工资照发,但寒假期间的工资将在随开学后第一个月的工资一起发放。本合同期满后,若双方继续签订合同,暑假期间甲方按照如下规定发放乙方工资:

1)若本合同期限为一学年,暑假期间乙方工资照发,即发七月份和八月份工资;

2)若本合同期限为一学期,暑假期间乙方工资发八月份。

甲方尊重乙方的文化传统,甲方在乙方的重大节假日里给乙方放假三天(如圣诞节1224日至26日放假)。

Holidays with Pay: Party B should be entitled to all Chinese public holidays, and summer and winter vacations as scheduled by the college. Salary is to be paid for winter vacations and holidays stipulated by the Chinese government, though the winter vacations salary will only be paid in the first working month of the new semester, along with that month’s salary, after Party B returns from holidays. If Party B decides to renew their contract with Party A, salary is to be paid during summer vacations according to Party A’s regulations:

(1) If this contract period is one school year, salary of July and August is to be paid as usual during summer vacations;

(2) If this contract period is one semester, salary of August is to be paid during summer vacations.

Party A should show respect and consideration for some important festivals of Party B’s country, and Party B is granted three days of holiday time (for instance Christmas Day from 24th to 26th December).

9. 病假:乙方请病假,须事先持医生证明向甲方提出申请,经同意,每学年可享受累计为期30天的带薪病假,但一般需要在事后补上所缺课程。病假累计超过30天,甲方有权解除合同;若甲方未解除合同,乙方可按月薪的70%领取薪金,直至恢复正常工作或甲方解除合同为止;若甲方解除合同,可酌情支付乙方部分离华费用。

Sick Leave: When asking for sick leave, Party B should present a doctor’s certificate to Party A in advance. Once the application is approved, his/her salary will be paid as usual if the sick leave is less than 30 days in accumulative total, though he/she should make up the classes afterwards. If sick leave is longer than 30 days in accumulative total, Party A reserves the right to terminate the contract; if Party A does not terminate the contract, Party B will receive 70% of his/her salary before the day he/she recovers and resumes regular work or before Party A decides to terminate the contract; if Party A terminates the contract after the 30 days, Party A may consider paying a certain part of the expenses for Party B’s departure from China.

10. 事假:经甲方同意,乙方可以请事假,并在事后补上所缺课程;每学年事假累计不得超过10天,连续事假不得超过3天;乙方未向甲方请假,或请假未经甲方批准而迟到、早退、旷课,按本合同附件相关规定处理。

Private Affairs Leave: When asking for private affairs leave, Party B should get the permission from Party A in advance, and should make up the classes afterwards. Within a school year, private affairs leave could not exceed 10 days in accumulative total, and continuous leave could not exceed 3 days. If Party B is late for classes, cutting classes or absent for classes without asking for leave in advance, or without permission for his/her leave, he/she will be punished according to the relevant rules in the contract appendix.


第四章 乙方的义务

IV Party B’s Obligations

11. 遵守中华人民共和国的法律、法规,不干预中国的内部事务;必须尊重中国的宗教政策,不从事与身份不符的任何活动;必须尊重中国人民的道德规范和风俗习惯。

Party B must observe the laws, decrees and relevant regulations enacted by the Chinese government and must not interfere in China’s internal affairs; Party B must respect China’s religious policy, and must not conduct religious activities incompatible with the status of an international teacher; Party B must respect the Chinese people’s moral standards and customs.

12. 外教在校期间,应遵守我国有关宗教法律法规,不得在校内进行传教,不得在校外组织或参加非法宗教活动,不得组织学生到校外参加任何宗教活动。

During the period at school, Party B must observe the relevant religious laws and regulations enacted by the Chinese government. Party B must not preach on campus, must not organize or participate in illegal religious activities outside the school, and must not organize students to take part in any religious activities outside the school.

13. 来华签证费和旅费自理。

When coming to China, Party B pays the fees for his/her own working visa and transportation.

14. 遵守甲方的工作制度和有关外籍教师的管理规定,接受甲方的工作安排、业务指导、检查和评估;按期完成工作任务,保证工作质量。未经甲方同意,不得兼任与甲方无关的其它劳务。

Party B must observe Party A’s work system and regulations concerning administration of international teachers and accept Party A’s arrangement, direction, supervision and evaluation in regard to his/her work; Party B must complete the relevant tasks on time and guarantee the quality of excellent work. Without Party A’s consent, Party B must not render service elsewhere or concurrently hold any position unrelated to the work agreed on with Party A.

15. 乙方每周工作五天,从星期一至星期五。每周1618 节课。若只上口语课,必须上满18/周。如甲方有需要,乙方必须同意承担甲方分派的超课时工作。乙方的超课节数以月份为统计单位,在下一个工作月计发超课报酬。超课课酬标准为220/节。

Party B works five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There are 16 to 18 periods of classes every week. If Party B only teaches oral English, he/she must fulfill 18 periods/week. When in necessary, Party B should agree to have some overtime classes. Overtime classes are calculated, in a unit of month, in the next working month. The payment for overtime classes is RMB220/period.

16. 乙方任教英语课程(如选读、写作、口语等课程),必须认真备课、完整填写相关教学工作表格(如教师手册、学生成绩表等)、充分准备相关的教学文件(如教学计划、教学进度表等)、做好学生的课外辅导及批改作业等。同时,在有需要的情况下,协助查阅科研信息资源、协助审阅科研论文、录音、参加英语角活动、指导学生实训周活动、指导学生课外活动及担任课外活动评判等。

Party B teaches English courses (such as selected reading, writing, oral English, etc.), prepares lessons, completes relevant paperwork (Teachers’ Manual, Students Grade Marking Form, etc), prepares relevant teaching documents (Teaching Plan, Teaching Progress Chart, etc), performs general tutoring, and, at the request of Party A, corrects compositions, offers help in seeking information from internet and other resources, provides research assistant including proof reading of research papers for students and teachers in the college, does some recording work, takes part in English Corner, Students’ Practice Weekguides students and acts as judges on extra-curricular activities.

17. 乙方家属或朋友来访,需进行听课、交流,应提前一周通知外事科和所在

部门,经批准后才可进行。必要时,甲方可要求乙方提供相关材料。

If Party B’s visiting relatives or friends would have the class observation and communicate with the students, Party B needs to hand in an application to Party A at least one week in advance. If necessary, Party B needs to hand in the related documents to Party A.

18. 按甲方要求参加相关会议,商讨解决教学及日常生活中出现的问题。乙方应准时出席会议,如果无理由迟到或缺席,甲方将参照上课迟到或旷课的处分办法予以处理。如无获邀请,则不参加。

Party B must attend meetings every month in which teaching and daily problems are discussed and solved. Punctuality, participation and interest in the school’s affairs are expected. If Party B is late or absent for meetings, he/she will be punished according to the regulations about being late for class and being absent for class. Party B should not get involved in meetings if there’s no invitation.

19. 乙方入住甲方外教宿舍楼前检查房间设备并签收设备清单,对房间财产负责,如有物品损坏和丢失,乙方必须照价赔偿。

Before Party B moves in the campus apartment, he/she signs a checklist of the apartment appliances after confirming and then he/she is responsible for the apartment properties. Party B will have to pay for any apartment equipment which are damaged or removed.

20. 外教宿舍楼是甲方提供给乙方个人的福利,未经甲方允许,他人不得享用。违者按每人每天罚款人民币150元,并从乙方的当月工资中扣除。乙方的亲属或朋友来访,可以住甲方的招待所,但乙方应该至少提前一周通知外事科,住宿费按甲方有关规定收取。

Party B’s apartment is the property of Party A and is to be used for the benefit of Party B only, who works in the College. Nobody else is allowed to share it unless permitted by the Party A. The violating teacher will be amerced RMB150 for each person per day, and this penalty will be deducted from his/her salary of the relevant month. Party B’s visiting relatives or friends may live in the school Guest House if Party B hands in an application to Party A at least one week in advance. The housing fees will be charged according to the related regulations of Party A.

21. 乙方有随行配偶或有小于18周岁的子女希望一同住在乙方宿舍,乙方须事先得到甲方的同意。

Party B must ask Party A for permission in advance if his/her accompanying spouse or children (less than 18 years old) would like to share the apartment during his/her service period in Party A.

22. 乙方不准在外教宿舍楼内饲养宠物。

No pets in Party B’s apartment.

23. 在外教宿舍楼内,晚上10点至早上7点间应避免制造噪音或进行可能影响他人的活动。

Excessive noise or any activity which may influence others must be avoided between 10pm and 7am among international teachers’ apartments.

24. 未经甲方同意不准自行复制房间钥匙或办公室钥匙。

Party B must not replicate the keys to his/her apartment or to the Foreign Affairs Office, unless he/she gets permission from Party A.

25. 乙方外出办事之前,必须切断房间的所有电器设备的电源,电冰箱除外。

Party B must cut off all of the electricity supply, except for the refrigerator, before leaving his/her apartment.

26. 合同期满后,乙方必须在指定的日期离校,逾期应缴纳滞留金300元人民币/每天。乙方在离开学校之前必须打扫好各自的宿舍,甲方将对房间卫生和财产进行检查。

When the contract expires, Party B must leave Party A on the stipulated date, otherwise Party B must pay RMB300/day for his extra staying period. Party B must clean his/her apartment in a nice way before he/she leaves the college, and Party A will check the apartment cleaning and its properties.

27. 乙方购票事务及行李托运费自理。

Party B is responsible for his/her own transportation tickets and reservations business. Party B pays all expenses incurred for the transport of luggage.

28. 如实提交相关文件和填报相关表格。

Party B must be honest with all documents that he/she is expected to hand in and forms to complete.

29. 乙方的个人所得税起征点为5000元。本合同规定的任何课酬、补贴、奖金等都必须依照中国的相关法律法规纳税。

The tax point of Party B’s monthly income is RMB5, 000. All pays, allowances and bonus stipulated in the contract are subjected to the relevant Chinese tax laws and regulations.

第五章 甲方的义务

V Party A’s Obligations

30. 甲方应向乙方介绍中国的有关法律、法规和甲方有关工作制度以及有关外籍教师/专家的管理规定。

Party A introduces the laws, decrees and relevant regulations enacted by the Chinese government, and Party A’s work system and regulations concerning administration of international teachers to Party B.

31. 甲方应对乙方的工作进行指导、检查和评估。

Party A conducts direction, supervision and evaluation of Party B’s work.

32. 甲方为乙方提供必要的工作和生活条件,并根据需要为乙方在华期间提供适当帮助。

Party A provides Party B with essential working and living conditions, and some other help in his/her daily life when in need.

33. 甲方按时支付乙方的报酬。

Party A pays Party B’s monthly salary on time.

第六章 合同的变更、解除和终止

VI Revision, Cancellation and Termination of the Contract

34. 双方应信守合同,未经双方一致同意,任何一方不得擅自更改、解除和终止合同。

Both parties must abide by the contract and refrain from revising, canceling, or terminating the contract without mutual consent.

35. 因特殊原因,当事人一方提前90天以书面形式提出要求,经当事人双方协商同意后,可以变更、解除和终止合同;在未达成一致意见前,仍应当严格履行合同。

After a written request handed to the other Party 90 days beforehand, the contract can be revised, canceled, or terminated with mutual consent for some special reasons. Before both parties have reached an agreement, the contract must be strictly observed.

36. 甲方在下述条件下,有权以书面形式通知乙方解除合同。乙方将只收到实际工作日的工资,其它任何补贴、奖金将给予扣除。乙方必须在收到解除合同通知后的三天内离开学校。

1)乙方违反中国国家法律法规或甲方的规章制度

2)乙方不履行合同或者履行合同义务不符合约定条件,经甲方指出后仍不改正。

3)乙方无故旷课累计3次,或迟到、早退累计4次(每节课计一次)。

4)乙方任教的一个班有50%的学生认为乙方是一个不胜任的教师,经甲方教学评估小组核实的。

5)乙方向学生传播色情,或对学生有任何形式的猥亵,或辱骂学生;情节严重,触犯我国法律者,送交公安部门处理。

6)任何未经甲方同意的乙方单方面解除合同。

7)乙方在一学年里病假累计30天后,甲方保留解除合同的权力。

Under the following conditions, Party A has the right to cancel the contract with a written notice handed to Party B. Party B is then not entitled to any allowance or bonus except his/her working days salary. Party B should leave the school within 3 days after receiving the notice.

(1) Party B violates the laws/regulations of China, or the rules/regulations of Party A.

(2) Party B does not fulfill the contract or does not fulfill the contract obligations, and continues on even after being warned by Party A orally or with a written notice.

(3) Party B is absent for class without Party A’s permission for 3 times in accumulative total, or is late for class, or leave class early for 4 times in accumulative total (one period of class is one time).

(4) 50% of students in one of Party B’s classes consider that Party B is an incapable teacher, and it has been investigated and verified by the school’s teaching evaluation group.

(5) Party B spreads eroticism, behaves indecently in any form to any student or reviles any student. (If Party B disobeys relevant Chinese laws, he/she will be delivered to the police department.)

(6) Party B’s any termination of the contract that is not approved by Party A.

(7) Party B has his/her sick leave within a school year for more than 30 days in accumulative total.

37. 在下述情况下,乙方有权以书面形式通知甲方解除合同:

1)甲方未按合同约定提供乙方必要的工作和生活条件;

2)甲方未按时支付乙方应得的报酬。

Under the following conditions, Party B has the right to cancel the contract with a written notice handed to Party A:

(1) Party A has not provided Party B with essential working and living conditions as stipulated in the contract.

(2) Party A has not paid Party B as scheduled.


第七章 违约责任

VII Contract Breaching Responsibility

38. 根据第35条,甲方提出解除合同,乙方将只收到其当月实际工作日的工资,其它任何补贴、奖金将给予扣除。乙方还必须根据其在甲方的实际工作月数退还甲方部分居留许可证办理费用和体检费用,并必须在离开甲方前自费将居留许可改为旅游签证。

Under the conditions in No. 35 of the contract, if Party A cancels the contract, Party B is then not entitled to any allowance or bonus except his/her working days salary. Party B must also refund Party A some percentages of the fees for his/her physical examination and his/her Residence Permit according to how many months he/she has worked for Party A, and Party B must change his/her Resident Permit to a tourist visa at his/her own expense before leaving Party A.

39. 甲方由于不可抗力事故要求解除合同,经乙方同意后,甲方只向乙方发放当月实际工作日工资和单程离华旅费,不再发放其它补贴或奖金等。甲方若无故解除合同,除负担乙方的离华费用外,还应向乙方支付违约金人民币4000元至10000元。

If Party A asks to cancel the contract due to event beyond its control, with the consent of Party B, Party A pays Party B’s working days salary and his/her one way departure ticket; other allowance, bonus or anything else is then no longer paid. If Party A cancels the contract without valid reason, Party A pays for Party B’s departure ticket and pay Party B a breach penalty of RMB4, 000 to RMB10, 000.

40. 乙方因不可抗力事件要求解除合同,需出具有关机构证明,经甲方同意后,甲方将只发放乙方当月实际工作日工资,其它任何补贴、奖金将不再发放;乙方还应当退还部分甲方已经支付的乙方体检费和居留证办理费;甲方可以就乙方的离职提供相关帮助。乙方若无故解除合同,甲方将参照第35条处理;乙方除了离华费用自理外,还应向甲方支付违约金人民币4000元至10000元。

If Party B asks to cancel the contract due to force majeure with certifications obtained from the relevant authority, with the consent of Party A, Party B is then not entitled to any allowance or bonus except his/her working days salary; Party B should then also refund Party A some percentages of the fees for his/her physical examination and his/her Residence Permit according to how many months he/she has worked for Party A; Party A may offer some help with Party B’s leaving. If Party B cancels the contract without valid reason, Party A will deal with the issue according to No. 35 of the contract. Party B should pay for the departure ticket himself/herself and pay Party A a breach penalty of RMB4, 000 to RMB10, 000.

第八章 合同效力

VIII Contract Validity

41. 本合同在乙方获得中国政府有关机关签发的来华工作许可、工作签证和居留许可,并发生实际聘用关系后生效,在本合同第2条所规定的学年结束期自行失效。当事人一方若要求签订新合同,必须在合同失效前90天向另一方提出,经双方协商同意后签订新合同。乙方在合同期满后,在华逗留期间的一切费用自理。

This contract takes effect after Party B obtains the Working Permit, Z Visa, Chinese Residence Permit, and starts to work in Party A. It will automatically expire when the school year ends as stipulated in No. 2 of the contract. If either of the two parties asks for a new contract, he/she should forward its request to the other party 90 days prior to the expiration of the contract, and sign the new contract with mutual consent. Party B shall bear all expenses incurred when staying on after the contract expires.

42. 聘用合同及其附件各项条款的确定和变更均需由当事人双方协商,并以书面形式做出约定。任何口头协议均视无效。

Confirmation and change of every term the contract and its appendices must be submitted in written form after discussion and negotiation between the two parties. Any oral agreement will be regarded as invalid.

43. 合同附件是合同不可分割的一部分,与合同具有同等效力

The contract appendix is an inseparable continuation of the standard contract and has equal effect.

44. 本合同用中文和英文书写,两种文字具有同等效力。

The contract is written in Chinese and English languages, with both texts being equally authentic.

第九章 仲裁

IX Arbitration

45. 当事人双方发生合同纠纷时,尽可能通过协商或者调解解决;若协商、调解无效,可向国家外国专家局设立的外国文教专家事务仲裁机构申请仲裁。

The two parties shall consult with each other and resolve any disputes that may arise concerning the contract. If all attempts fail, the two parties can appeal to the Organization of Arbitration for Foreign Experts Affairs in the States Bureau of Foreign Experts and ask for a final arbitration.

46. 在仲裁过程中,除双方有争议正在进行仲裁的部分外,本合同应继续履行。

During the process of arbitration, both parties should continue observing the contract except for the dispute parts.


第十章 其它

X Others

47. 合同正本2份,双方各执1份。

The contract is made in two originals, one for each party.

48. 本合同于 日在广东省外语艺术职业学院外事科签订。

备课 Teaching Planning

1. 教学系应在每学期首次外教例会前,安排好外籍教师任教课程,准备好外籍教师任教课程的课程标准、教材及任教班级学生名册表,外籍教师必须严格按照课程标准备课。课程标准包括课程名称,参考书目,教学方法,评估办法和课程内容(可略加改动)。备课中应把握基本知识,基本技能和基本理论。

Relevant materials are provided in the first international teachers meeting by teaching departments. Teachers must prepare for classes with materials provided: course standards, textbooks and students’ name list. Course standards comprise courses names, aims, reference books, teaching methods, evaluation methods and course contents (can be changed a little correspondingly). Elementary knowledge, fundamental skills and basic theories should be included in class preparation.

2. 教师应事先准备好各种教具和相关材料。

Teaching aids and related materials should be prepared beforehand.

3. 教师应填写《教学进度表》,于每学期第一周周五之前交所在系。在教学过程中,应据此执行,可略做调整。

Teaching Progress Chart should be filled in and handed in to relevant departments before the first Friday of each semester. Lessons should be carried out accordingly. With the approval of departments, adjustment is allowed if necessary.

4. 教师应根据指定教材备课,上课。如有必要,经系领导同意,教学内容可做适当调整,但不能以任何理由拒绝使用指定教材或执行教学计划。

Designated course books should be used in class preparation. Teaching materials can be adjusted accordingly with approval of relevant departments if necessary. However, teachers should never refuse using the designated course books or executing teaching plan with any excuse.

5. 教授同一年级同一科目的教师应实行集体备课。

Teachers who teach the same subject of the same grade are required to carry out the same teaching plan.


上课 Teaching

1. 按时上下课。每节课课间休息十分钟。

Start and end lessons punctually. There is a ten-minute break in the middle of class.

2. 上课迟到(上课铃响后进课室则被视为迟到)、课堂中断或早退都是严重不负责任的行为,第一次,扣工资200元人民币;第二次,扣工资400元人民币;第三次,扣工资800元人民币及该学期全部奖金和补贴;第四次,解雇,并不负责该教师返程任何费用。上课迟到或早退15分钟以上视为旷课。

The behavior of being late for class (entering classroom after the bell rings is considered being late), discontinuing lessons and leaving early are all breach of duty. A punishment of RMB200 will be deducted from salary for the first breach and RMB400 for the second. For the third breach, RMB800 will be deducted along with all bonuses and allowance for the semester. If teachers are late for class for four times, dismissal will be executed and the college will not reimburse the expense for teacher’s return trip. Being late or leaving early for more than 15 minutes (including 15 minutes) is considered as absence.

3. 教师上课应携带纸质版教学大纲、教学进度表、教材、教案、学生名册表 (可要求各班班长把中文名字标注拼音)。

Teachers need to bring the paper version of Teaching Syllabus, Teaching Plan, textbooks, and Class Record Sheet during each class (class monitors could be asked to help putting Chinese names into Pinyin).

4. 课堂活动必须完成教学任务目标。课程、游戏、活动、录像、音乐等须具有语言培训价值,并以完成课堂的教学为目的。

Classroom activities should fulfill teaching aims and tasks. Lessons, games, activities, videos, music, etc. used in classroom should be of language educating value, and be used to fulfill the objectives of that lesson.

5. 学院鼓励教师探索新的教学方法,加深学生的理解,提高学生分析问题和处理问题的能力。课堂上应组织讨论,教师的启发、指导和总结也是必不可少的。

Teachers are encouraged to adopt new teaching methods to deepen students’ understanding and boost students’ ability of analyzing and problem-solving. Teachers are expected to organize discussion group and give elicitation, instruction and summary to students.

6. 禁止教师在课堂上及校园内谈论与性、政治、宗教或种族有关的话题。学院不干涉对来华工作外籍教师的个人宗教信仰,教师可以到开放的宗教场所以普通宗教信仰者的身份过宗教生活,但不允许在学院布道传教,不得发展教徒,不得插手我国的宗教事务,第一次违规,给予书面警告,扣工资400元人民币;第二次违规,解雇,并不负责该教师返程任何费用。

Discussions of sexual, political, religious or racial topics are not permitted in class or on campus. International teachers can go to any open religious places as ordinary religious believers without any interference by the college. However, any preach in campus, and interference with religious affairs in China is forbidden. For the first violation, written warning will be given and RMB400 will be deducted in salary; for the second time, dismissal will be executed and the college will not reimburse the expense for teacher’s return trip.

7. 教师提供的用于教学的故事片、录像带、电影等,需经所在系审核后方可放映。教师应提前至少三个工作日将材料交所在系审核。

Documentaries, videotapes, and movies, etc for teaching purposes provided by international teachers should be shown to students only with the approval of the teaching department. International teachers should ask for approval at least three workdays beforehand.

8. 教师应相互听课。每位教师每学期至少听八节课,做好听课记录,并于每学期第18周的周五前交给所在系。任何教师都可不提前通知而到其他教师的课堂听课。

Teachers are required to observe others’ lessons for at least eight periods each semester. Teachers should then hand in their class-observation records before the Friday of Week 18th each semester. Any teacher can go to observe any others’ classes without advanced notice.

9. 教师如有正当理由,在获得所在系负责人同意后,可将学生带出教室开展教学活动,但必须在校园内。在教室外进行教学活动时,教师必须对学生的安全负责。

Teachers can conduct lessons outside classroom with the permission of the Dean of Department, on the campus only. Teachers are responsible for the students’ safety in activities out of classroom.

10. 学生迟到15分钟以上,视为旷课一节。

It is considered to be absent if a student is late for class for more than 15 minutes.

11. 学生必须获得教师同意,方能离开教室。学生应听从教师安排。如果学生有违纪行为,教师应于课后告知班主任或所在系。上课期间,教师无权将学生赶出教室。教师不能对学生进行任何处罚。如有学生生病或情绪过度不安,教师应告知学生所在系负责人。

Students can only leave classroom when allowed by teachers. Teachers have no rights to force students to leave classroom during a lesson. Any punishment given to students is not allowed. If there is any disciplinary offence, teachers should report to Class Adviser or Department immediately.

12. 教师和学生均不能在课堂上吃东西。

Teachers and students are not allowed to eat in class.

13. 未经所在系同意,教师不得随意调课。如确实需要取消某节课,应提前通知所在系,以便通知学生。病假需提供医生证明,及时报告所在系;事假需提前向所在系申请,获得批准方可。教师应事后完成补课任务。

Any change of the teaching schedule must be approved by the Dean of Department. Notification should be given to the Department if necessary. Sick leaves should be notified to the Department with doctor’s note beforehand. Personal leave is allowed with approval by the dean of Department beforehand. Teachers are responsible to make up the missing classes afterwards.

14. 教师无故旷课,第一次扣工资400元人民币;第二次扣工资800元人民币;第三次,解雇,并不负责该教师返程任何费用。

If a teacher is absent for class without notification for the first time, RMB400 will be deducted from salary and RMB800 will be deducted for the second time. If a teacher is absent for three times, dismissal will be executed and the college will not reimburse the expense for the teacher’s return trip.

15. 教毕业班的教师,如果课程提早结束,将会被要求参加与教学、科研和学生实习相关的活动。

Teachers who teach the graduating classes are required to participate in the activities of teaching, researching and students’ teaching practice, if their curriculum is ended earlier than the other classes in college.

16. 教师禁止在课堂上吸烟或使用手机。第一次违规,扣工资400元;第二次违规,扣工资800元;第三次违规,解雇,并不负责该教师返程任何费用。

Teachers are forbidden to smoke or use mobile phones with any excuse in class. For the first breach, RMB400 will be deducted from salary and RMB800 for the second time. For the third breach, dismissal will be executed and the college will not reimburse the expense for the teacher’s return trip.

17. 教师上课应衣着大方、端庄,衣服应保持干净整洁,过短的上衣和裙子都不适宜。不允许穿拖鞋或短裤上课。

Dress appropriately. Teachers’ clothing should be clean, unwrinkled, in good repair and modest. Shorts, immodest skirts or dresses are not appropriate. Teachers are not allowed to wear slippers or short trousers in class.

18. 无论课内课外,教师应该保持礼貌大方的行为举止。禁止在公共场合进行捣乱、酗酒或者其他攻击行为。教师应该对中国人民和其他外籍同事尊敬有礼。

Behave in a respectable manner both in and out of classroom. Public disturbances, drunkenness, rudeness, or other offensive behaviors are not acceptable. Teachers should be respectful to all Chinese people and international colleagues.

19. 教师不能提供住所给学生开派对和约会。教师不可以允许少于三个学生进入自己的住所,必须要求学生在晚上10:00之前离开。如学生在教师住所发生任何不测,教师都要承担主要责任。教师外出时,不允许把学生留在住所。无论任何原因,禁止教师留宿学生。

Students are not allowed to have parties or date in teacher’s apartments. Teachers should never allow less than 3 students to visit his/her apartment and must request students to leave before 10:00 pm. If any accidents happen to students inside teacher’s apartment, the teacher will shoulder the main responsibility. Teacher should not let student stay in his/her apartment if the teacher is out. Teachers are not allowed to let students stay overnight in his/her apartment for any reason.

20. 无论校内校外,教师都不允许与学生约会、恋爱。

Teachers should never date or have love affairs with any students, either on or off campus.


评估 Assessing

1. 考试准备Test preparation

(1) 试卷应包括该学期教学的所有内容。命题时,基础知识占60% 分析占30% 知识应用提高占10%。平均分把握在70---80之间。

Test paper must be relevant to what has been taught. Basic knowledge should take up 60% of the content in your examination paper while 30% analysis and 10% for knowledge application.

(2) 命题时,每门课应出三套难度与分量相当的试题,重叠部分不得超过30%

Prepare three similar sets of test papers for each subject with the same level of quantity and difficulty.

(3) 各科试题满分100分。

The total score of each test paper is 100.

2. 监考Test Supervision

(1) 监考老师提前15分钟领取试卷,提前5分钟到达考室。

Invigilators must get all the exam materials ready 15 minutes ahead and get to the exam room 5 minutes before the exam starts.

(2) 监考教师应强调考试纪律,宣布考试时间。

Invigilators should announce the duration of the exam and emphasize exam discipline.

(3) 监考教师应按时收发所有试卷。

Hand out and collect all the exam papers on time.

(4) 监考教师不做与监考无关的事,如看报纸,听音乐、发手机短信、接听或拨打电话等。

Teachers should not do anything that is not relevant to the invigilation, such as reading newspaper, listening to music, sending messages and making phone calls.

(5) 除紧急情况外,考试中途考生在未交卷情况下不得离开教室。考生在开考后30分钟后才能交卷。

Examinees can leave the exam room only after handing in exam papers, unless there is an emergency. Examinees are only allowed to hand in exam papers after the first 30 minutes of the exam.

(6) 监考教师如实记录学生的作弊行为,如抄袭他人答案或交换试卷等,并报告教务处。

Any cheating on the test must be recorded and reported to the Dean’s office.

(7) 有下列情况下之一者,学生将被取消考试资格:

旷课累计达该门课总学时四分之一者;

缺席(含旷课和请假)累计达该门课总学时三分之一者;

三分之一作业未完成者;

当场考试迟到15分钟以上者。

Students will be disqualified for exams in one of the following situations:

Being absent, without asking for leave, for one fourth of the total teaching periods;

Being absent, for all reasons or permission, for one third of the total teaching periods;

Not handing in one third of teacher’s assignment;

Being late for the exam for more than 15 minutes.


3. 评分Grading

(1) 每周作业总量不得超过本周课时量的三分之二。教师应检查、批阅并给予反馈。

Appropriate homework is supposed to be assigned to students (no more than two third of class quantity each week). Teachers should check students’ homework and give feedback.

(2) 在科目总评中,平时成绩(含上课、课堂表现和课后作业)占20% 中段考占30% 期末考占50% 没有中段考的科目如口语,平时成绩占30%,期末考占70% 60分以下为不及格,学生将于下学期初或学年末参加补考。80分以上为优秀。

There are courses with both mid-term exams and final exams, and courses with only final exams. For the former situation, attendance, class performance and homework composes 20% of the final score; the mid-term exam composes 30% and final exam 50%. For the latter situation, attendance, class performance and homework makes up of 30% and final exam 70%. A final score below 60 is considered as “Fail” and students will have an opportunity to retake an exam at the beginning of the next term or the end of the school year.

(3) 评分要客观准确。教师不得随意更改学生成绩。

Be objective and accurate with students’ grading.

(4) 教师要按时向所在系上交本评分规定中第二条所列出的所有学生成绩。

Submit students’ grades to the Department on time as informed, including all grades listed on Item 2 in Grading.

(5) 如果学生抄袭,则按不及格处理。经老师同意,并与所在系协商,学生可以参加补考。

Students must be given a “Fail” for plagiarism. They could have a chance to take a make-up exam when permitted by the teacher and the Department.

(6) 口语课的期末试卷必须提前3周提交给所在系,经审批后才能使用。

Final examination paper and plan for oral English test can only be used after the approval of the Department 3 weeks before the examination.

(7) 教师要在考试结束之后一周内,向所在系提交学生课程成绩及任教课程分析。

Paper version of students’ grades and analysis of curriculums must be handed in to the department within a week after the final exam.


其它Others

1. 教师必须按要求制作和填写相关教学表格和材料。

Teachers are expected to work out and complete forms and documents related to teaching.

2. 教师应填妥《教师教学基本情况登记表》,于下学期开学初交所在系。下学期不再留任的教师,应在离任前将材料交所在系。

Fill in Teaching Information Chart and hand in to the department in the beginning of the next semester. For teachers who are not staying for the next semester, he/she should hand in the chart before leaving his/her post.

3. 教师应尽量不让学生出入自己的住所。师生应在办公室或教室讨论教学问题。师生之间如果发生文化方面的误解,应妥善解决并报告所在系及外事科。

Teachers are not encouraged to invite students to visit his/her apartments. Teachers and students can have educational discussion in classrooms or offices. Cultural misunderstanding between teachers and students should be resolved properly and be reported to the Department and Foreign Affairs Office.

4. 教师应积极参加各种课外活动,如:参加教学相关的活动,当学生竞赛的评委,做学术报告,参与科研工作和录音。

Teachers are expected to take part in activities outside class such as course related activities, judging students’ competitions, giving lectures, assisting in research work and doing voice recordings.

5. 教师应参加外教会议,在会议上可以提出意见和建议。

Teachers should attend Monthly meeting. Questions and suggestions are welcomed in meetings.

6. 教师应遵守学院的校园管理规定。

Teachers must comply with the regulations of the college.
