1. The East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) Program

   The college started friendly communication with ETBU in 1986 and in 1989 friendly relation was officially established between the two institutions. Over the past two decades, communication between the two colleges grew steadily in various forms, including exchanging of teachers and students and visits by high-ranking officials of both institutions.

   We have signed contracts concerning the following aspects

   (1)exchanging of teachers

   Signed previously, this contract was extended in August 2011, stipulating that each term a teacher from our college be sent to ETBU to teach Chinese and several teachers or graduates from ETBU be sent to our college to teach English. By now, 29 teachers have had the opportunity to study and work in ETBU.

   (2)Sharing academic credits

   The contract was signed in April 2006. According to the contract, ETBU recognized most academic credits gained in our college, thus greatly facilitating the student’s prospective of undergraduate studies in ETBU.

   (3)exchanging of students

   In August 2011, the contract for student exchanges was signed, according to which two students from our college will be sent to ETBU and 4 students from ETBU will be sent to our college.

 

   2. The Chaoyang University of Technology Program (CYUT)

   (1) Exchanging of students

   In June 2010, our college signed the Letter of Cooperation Intent with Chaoyang University of Technology. Outstanding students from our college will have a chance to study for a term or a year in Taiwan. Until now, 22 students have received education at CYUT.

   (2) Exchanging of teachers

   In November 2011, an agreement was signed between our college and CYUT, allowing mutual visits by teachers. Experts from one side can teach as guest professors on the other side. The college had already sent two teachers to CYUT for communication.

 

   3. The University of Northampton Program

   In March 2011, an agreement of cooperation was signed between the college and the University of Northampton, which stipulates that the academic credits gained in our college be recognized by University of Northampton, making it easier for our students to further their undergraduate and graduate studies.

   4. The Ulsan College Program

   In December 2010, the college signed the Letter of Cooperation Intent with Ulsan College. The School of Continuing Education and Ulsan College started a Korean training course and by now two sessions have been completed.

 

   5. The US social Internship Program

   (1) The China Service Centre for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries program

   In 2009, we started a program with the China Service Centre for Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, taking Chinese students to work in the US during the summer vacation. By now, 20 students went to the US through the program.

   (2) Guangdong Education Service of International Exchanges program

   In 2011, we started cooperation with Guangdong Education Service of International Exchanges, putting forward the summer internship program. Now the program is still in promotion.
