Secondary Vocational Education Department

The Secondary Vocational Education Department was established in 2021 through the merger of Guangdong Civil Affairs School, Guangdong Foreign Trade School, and Guangdong Trade Vocational Technical School. It is responsible for the comprehensive management of our secondary vocational students’ education and teaching.

Adhering to the principles of standardization, refinement, openness, and distinctiveness in education, the Department aims to cultivate modern vocational talents with both vocational qualities and professional skills. Currently, it offers four programs: Early Childhood Care and Education, E-commerce, Arts and Crafts, and Automobile Application and Maintenance. The Department enrolls students who have graduated from junior high schools, with a total of 5,914 students. Currently, it has 59 faculty members, including 16 senior lecturers.

The Department is equipped with advanced and comprehensive modern multimedia electrified education systems and campus network systems. It has established multifunctional vocational skills training centers, such as the Early Childhood Care and Education Training Center, E-commerce Specialized Training Room, E-commerce Live Streaming Room, Automobile Repair Training Center, and Arts and Crafts Multifunctional Training Center. Additionally, it has established over 100 school-enterprise cooperation bases and internship practice bases. The Department has developed a talent cultivation model featuring “school-enterprise cooperation”, combination of working with learning and order-oriented cultivation. It also boasts a double-titled faculty of high moral standards with strict discipline, innovative educational concepts, good teaching competence, and strong practical abilities.
